Job description
As a Data Intern, you are part of the IT product development support team at DAF, located in Eindhoven, and responsible for creating a monitoring tool that allows multiple data sources into one easy-to-use tool. 

Your main tasks and goals will be:
  • You will be responsible for building an application monitoring tool for IT;
  • The tool should include information about the installation method(s) for these tools, the license info, and maintenance-related information;
  • Your main goal will be to provide a quick overview of all active applications in the field;
  • You will work closely with the IT product development support team to ensure the tool allows version control;
  • The tool should give insight into deployment methods for the applications.

Your profile
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field;
  • Experience: Experience in building monitoring tools and/or working with multiple data sources;
  • Language skills: Communication skills in English are required, Dutch preferred (but not necessary);
  • Competences: Technical skills, problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Skills: SQL, Active Directory, data visualization, programming.

Department
The IT product development support team is part of the PACCAR IT department within DAF, located in Eindhoven. The department is responsible for the CAD and CAE application within Product Development (PD) and is often the main point of contact for many IT-related topics within PD.

The team has over 200 applications within its scope of support, divided over a wide range of suppliers.
